Ferretts Iron

Ferretts Iron tablets contain 106 mg elemental iron from 325 mg ferrous fumarate.

Iron is an essential mineral. The need for extra iron may be caused by several conditions including the loss of blood, diets low in iron, weight loss surgery (bariatric), gastrointestinal abnormalities, normal body changes (growth spurts in children), and pregnancy. Unlike other kinds of iron, ferrous fumarate is gentle on the stomach. Ferretts iron is absorbed better on an empty stomach but may be taken with food if it upsets your stomach. Store in a cool dry place.

Suggest Use: For Adults take one (1) tablet daily or as directed by a physician. Take on empty stomach with water, take after meals or with food if gastrointestinal upset occurs.
